Payment platform Unzer has appointed Niv Liranas its Chief Product and Technology Officer. Niv already joined the Unzer management team at the start of September. As Chief Product and Technology Officer, he and his team will work on further refining and optimising Unzer's platform.
Niv most recentlyheld the position of Chief Product Officer at AUTO1 Group, Europe's leading online B2B marketplace for used cars. Here, he co-managed the technology department, which he was able to expand from just five to more than 350 employees within the space of fouryears. Prior to this, Niv was responsible for online payments and the checkout experience as Vice President at Rocket Internet. He switched to Rocket Internet after having worked as Director of Product Management at Groupon. "With Niv Liran, we are gaining a platform expert who understands how eCommerce and payments work. As such, he is the perfect person for the role of Chief Product and Technology Officer. Not only does he have many years of experience and specialist expertise, he also knows how to manage large teams and stays constantly up-to-date with the ever changing tech world. In other words, he knows how to scale large tech projects quickly. This is precisely what we are planning to do with Unzer," comments Mirko Hüllemann, CEO at Unzer, on the newrecruitment.
